FAU Innovation Days: Experience future ideas and AI up close!

A highlight of the FAU Innovation Days is the **FAU KI Park: The Power of Algorithms**. This will take place on Monday, September 22nd, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the JOSEPHS in Nuremberg. Here, developments and applications in the field of artificial intelligence are discussed with FAU scientists as well as experts from industry and start-ups. The aim is to promote exchange and cooperation in this promising field.

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the **TechTalk Innovation** will be held online via Zoom. From 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Dr. Mirjam Storim (Siemens), Prof. Dr. Kathrin Möslein (FAU) and Matthias Trost (AMPERIAL) on the role of collaborations between science, industry and society in innovative ecosystems.

Another interesting event is the conversation with robot Willi on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Here you have the opportunity to interact with the robot directly and with Dr. Carolin Kaiser from NIM will discuss the influence of eye contact with robots on decisions.

The FAU Innovation Days also offer a series of workshops and special events. This includes the **EELISA: PhD Innovation Day** on September 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the panOPTICUM in Erlangen. This event focuses on the potential of doctoral students to start businesses and innovate.
