Concert highlights in July: From Bach to Jazz in Bamberg!
On July 12, 2025, the city of Bamberg is expecting a musical highlight: the end-of-semester concert entitled “Himmelwärts” will take place in the renowned Bamberg concert hall, in the Joseph Keilberth Hall. This event will bring together the university orchestras, the university choir and the university orchestra, to present a diverse program. The main work of the evening is the Concerto for Organ and Orchestra by Paul Richter, which will be performed in this form for the first time in Bamberg. The soloist will be Balázs Szabó, professor of organ at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
