Innovative minds wanted: EUNICE Entrepreneurship Lab 2025 is getting started!

On July 15, 2025, the graduation of the EUNICE Entrepreneurship Laboratory (E-ELab), a program focused on acquiring transversal skills in the field of entrepreneurship, took place. The E-ELab is particularly aimed at students who are interested in innovation challenges and want to implement their entrepreneurial ideas. This year, participants have the opportunity to learn tools to validate their ideas and assess entrepreneurial potential. How b-tu.de reports, a total of 5 BTU students benefited from a network of mentors and coaches who offered them valuable support.

The E-ELab program offered 13 interactive workshops covering topics such as blue economy and ocean health, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, aspects for older people, smart cities, cultural heritage and augmented reality applications. The workshops conclude with a multiple-choice test and a written essay to deepen the newly acquired knowledge.

International Summer Academy and Tech Hackathon

A highlight of the program was a week-long summer academy at the University of Catania, Italy, which took place from June 30 to July 4, 2025. This academy offered participants the opportunity to present their ideas during a tech hackathon on the topic of “Bridging Cultures, Sparking Innovation”. Innovative projects were developed in interdisciplinary and multicultural groups. The top 30 students qualified for the Tech Hackathon 2025, which took place on July 3, 2025. According to the information from eunice.put.poznan.pl All participants received ECTS validation for their completed work.

A special highlight was the award given to Francisco Föse, a BTU student, who received an award for an internship abroad. This experience not only offers a valuable addition to your studies, but also enables exchange with international partners. The EUNICE team is already planning the next E-Lab next year to continue promoting innovative thinking and entrepreneurial skills.

Thanks and outlook

Thanks go to Prof. Mißler-Behr, Dr. Viktor Zakar and the other participants whose commitment contributed to the success of this program. The participants not only gained professional skills, but also had the opportunity to network with like-minded people and present their ideas to a jury.
