Future Fair North: Discover the opportunities in the German-French education system!

The Future Fair North will take place on October 1st and 2nd, 2025 at the University of Bremen. This event is aimed at students from the 9th grade, vocational students and students who are interested in the German-French education and labor market. The opening times of the fair are from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on both days. The venue is the GW2 building, level 2, on the University of Bremen campus.

Registration is required for groups; individuals can participate without prior registration. Entry to the fair is free. A total of 32 exhibitors will be represented at the trade fair, including renowned universities, colleges and German-French institutions and associations. In addition to the exhibitors such as Campus France and the Institut Français Deutschland, the Franco-German Youth Office (DFJW) and the University of Leipzig will also provide information on study and exchange opportunities.

Goals and main topics

The aim of the future fair is to offer insights into the possibilities and perspectives of the Francophone region. The subject areas of the fair include bilingual and trilingual study programs, dual studies as well as gap years and stays abroad. Furthermore, aspects such as scholarships abroad and orientation internships are discussed. The fair is intended to give those interested an understanding of specific career fields in the world of work.

In addition, 15 micro-training courses and presentations are planned in which students will report on their experiences as foreign language assistants abroad. These are a valuable addition to the exhibition and help visitors gain practical insights.

(VdF), Campus Nord for France & Francophonie (CaNoFF), the German-French University (DFH), the Institut français Germany and the Association of German-French Societies for Europe e.V. (VDFG). The Future Fair North helps to build bridges between the education systems and labor markets of the two countries and supports the networking of young people in this direction.
