The Leuphana University of Lüneburg has presented its new course catalog for guest students. More than 100 different courses from over ten subject areas are now available. Registration for curious prospective students runs until May 2, 2025. Anyone interested in the program can view the information on the official website of the Open Lecture Hall, which can be found at www.leuphana.de/offener-hoersaal can be found.
A special highlight awaits potential guest auditors on March 26, 2025. An information event will take place in the Leuphana central building at 10:00 a.m. This is aimed at anyone who is newly interested in the guest listening program. Participants have the opportunity to receive important information about the process, the events offered and other dates. Networking opportunities will also be offered during the event.
Guest auditor program in detail
Leuphana University opens its doors not only to students, but also to guest auditors who are interested in a wide range of topics and disciplines. The winter semester 2024/2025 is a good opportunity to take part. Anyone interested can access the courses from October 14, 2024 to January 31, 2025. There are no special entry requirements, which makes participation particularly attractive.
The cost of the program is 102 euros for up to 4 semester hours per week. Anyone who wants to take more than 4 semester hours per week pays 153 euros per semester. Registration for the upcoming semester is possible until November 1, 2024. The course catalog will be available for download from September 16, 2024 and online registration via myCampus will also be open from this date.
Regulars' table and exchange opportunities
A new guest student regulars' table will offer an additional platform for exchange and networking in the summer semester from April 9, 2025. This takes place every two weeks on Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Klippo. Those interested can not only exchange ideas with each other, but also make new contacts in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Leuphana University of Lüneburg was founded in 1946 and today has around 10,000 students. The university is characterized by an interdisciplinary study model that offers a broad training in education, culture, sustainability, management and entrepreneurship.
With the help of the open lecture hall, guest auditors have the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information about various topics and thus immerse themselves in an academic environment.
