The third edition of the “Bucerius CLP on Tour” series will take place in November 2025. The Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession (Bucerius CLP) will visit seven German cities: Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg. The events offer lawyers from law firms and legal departments the opportunity to exchange ideas and gain new perspectives on current topics in the legal market.
The participants will be welcomed by six different hosts at the respective locations. A central element of the events will be the presentation of a new study dealing with “Legal Market Economics”. This study examines the economic framework and the innovation potential in the legal market and addresses the regulatory support of innovations as well as best practices in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in legal firms.
Discussions and insights
The two-hour events not only provide space for presentations, but also for lively discussions. Participants can deepen their discussions over a light lunch. The tour hosts are well-known companies such as ARAG, A&O Shearman, Görg, Lupp+Partner, Menold Bezler and Taylor Wessing. The event's strategic partners are ARAG and Wolters Kluwer, while Juve, lto and the Legal Tech Directory act as media partners.
Parallel to the tour he has Legal Tech Association Germany In collaboration with Bucerius CLP, we have developed an innovative online course on the subject of artificial intelligence (AI), which is specifically tailored to the German legal market. This course, the first of its kind, aims to provide lawyers with the skills necessary to successfully integrate AI into their work.
The course consists of three modules and includes content developed with the help of e-learning and AI experts as well as through workshops and expert interviews. The modules cover the basics of AI, its application to the German legal market and the specific implementation of AI technologies in everyday work. Participants can access the course content from December 15, 2023; an early bird price of 499 euros is valid until September 25, 2023.
The Legal Tech Association, founded in May 2020, brings together over 120 market players in the legal market, including law firms, legal protection insurers, debt collection service providers and software companies. The Bucerius CLP itself was founded in 2010 and focuses on the interfaces of law, business, management, innovation and digitalization.
