In the winter semester of 2025/26, the Philipps University of Marburg will once again open its doors to citizens who would like to attend courses as guest students. The information event, which offers interested participants a first insight into the guest auditor studies, will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the seminar building, Pilgrimstein 12. Diverse teaching offerings
The offer includes, among other things, the lecture “Fundamentals of Social Anthropology – Human Ways of Life and Culture” in the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy. In addition, exclusive events such as the “Philosophical Study Group” and the seminar “Fundamentals of digitally supported learning in guest and senior studies” are planned specifically for guest students.
Together with the Marburger Seniors' College e.V., special lectures are offered for seniors that specifically address the interests of this target group. For the summer semester of 2025, for example, the lecture “Social and Population Geography” was already planned in the Geography department, which underlines the broad spectrum of offerings.
