Science you can touch: Wavelength Science ON TOUR” in Rostock!

On June 19, 2025 the time has come: the club Rostock thinks 365° The event series “Wavelength Science ON TOUR” begins. This innovative series takes place annually in various locations in Rostock. It offers a platform for scientific topics and is aimed at interested parties from all walks of life, including non-academic circles. The focus is on bringing the research of the University of Rostock and other institutions closer to a broad audience.

The kick-off event will be held at the CraftBar at Margarethenstrasse 41 in Rostock and entry is free. Starts at 7:30 p.m. Young scientists from the region will present their projects in short, understandable lectures in order to make complex issues understandable. The following topics are covered:

  • Jonas Homburg, Zoo Rostock: „Gut getarnt und schutzbedürftig – der Zoo im Einsatz für Sandregenpfeifer und Co.“
