CampusXperience Festival: Young talents celebrate science and sport!

From June 20th to 22nd, 2025, the Technical University of Braunschweig will be transformed into a lively event location: the CampusXperience Festival is coming up. Under the motto "Explore. Celebrate. Play." The festival is aimed at young people, families, interested citizens and university members. The aim is to present the diverse facets of university life and to promote exchange about research, music and sport. This reports TU Braunschweig.

The festivities begin on Friday, June 20, at 7 p.m. with a science slam where TU researchers will present innovative projects. The topics range from metrology and the city of the future to engineering for health and mobility. This offers the audience the opportunity to gain exciting insights into current research work.

A diverse program for everyone

On Saturday, June 21st, a special tour of discovery awaits visitors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: 52 laboratories and facilities at TU Braunschweig will open their doors for tours. Special programs are also offered for children and alumni. The “Celebrate A call for support is aimed at everyone who would like to actively contribute to the festival preparation, whereby the project team can be supported by interested helpers in the areas of booking, decoration, awareness and gastronomy. The North Campus will become a vibrant center with seven areas that offer opportunities for dancing, moving, learning and exchanging ideas. A science field will also be created here with readings, lectures and workshops that deal with the pressing issues of sustainability and mobility. All six faculties at TU Braunschweig present exhibits that illustrate the broad spectrum of research.

Activities and graduation ceremony

A highlight of the festival is the colorful offerings, ranging from trampolines and a screen printing stand to live sounds from artists such as Remote Bondage and Emily Rose. The festival ends on Sunday, June 22nd with a university sports festival. Twelve sports groups are available in the outdoor area on Franz-Liszt-Straße to present trendy sports such as acro yoga, calisthenics, Hyrox and parkour. Beach volleyball and basketball tournaments are also held.

Free childcare makes it easier for families to take part in the activities. The stage program is varied with performances by Lindy Hop and Salsa dancers, while a wide range of gastronomic offerings covers the culinary wishes of visitors.

The CampusXperience Festival promises to be an unforgettable experience for the entire region with a focus on education, fun and community.
