Anniversary beer from TU Clausthal: Bright summer pleasure now available!
June 5, 2025 is a special day for the Clausthal University of Technology, as the so-called anniversary brew is now available for sale. This light, wholesome summer beer, which was developed by Prof. Frank Endres, head of the research brewery at Clausthal University of Technology, has a mild, floral hop note and reduced alcohol content. The anniversary beer was brewed in Altenau and it not only embodies the art of brewing, but also the 250th anniversary of the university.
The beer was bottled in the first week of June and is now available in six-carts of 0.33 liter bottles. The price for a six-carrier in the university's anniversary design is seven euros. Customers can purchase the beers at various points of sale, such as the Clausthal-Zellerfeld Tourist Information Office, the brewery's Altenauer farm shop and Drinks-Fiekert in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
Beer and more: sales launch is very well received
The first six-barrel of the anniversary beer was sold quickly, which shows the great popularity that this special drink has in the region. But the Jubilee Brew is not the only product being offered to mark the anniversary. At the Biel bakery, those interested can also purchase chocolate thalers with the Clausthal University seal in the flavors dark and whole milk.
In order to properly celebrate the 250th anniversary, Clausthal University of Technology is planning a festival week from June 14th to 21st, which will include a variety of events and programs.
