JuniorSTUDIUM at LUH: Insight into university life for students!
The JuniorSTUDIUM at Leibniz University Hannover is organizing an exciting program in the winter semester 2025/2026 for students, trainees and volunteers to gain an insight into university life. According to Leibniz University Hannover, participants can not only attend regular courses, but also take exams that can be credited towards later studies at the university. This represents a valuable opportunity to experience everyday university life up close and to prepare intensively for your own educational and professional career.
Registration for the JuniorSTUDIUM is required and requires proof of current work in school, training or voluntary service. For those interested, an information event will take place on October 10, 2025 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in lecture hall 030 at Leibniz University Hannover. The start of the lecture period in the winter semester is planned for October 13, 2025, while classes are currently planned until January 31, 2026. Further information is available on the website Leibniz University Hannover available.
Goals and target groups of the program
The program aims to offer participants a realistic insight into student life. Those interested can gain useful insights from the courses that will help them decide on a future educational direction. In addition to school students, the offer is also aimed at trainees and those doing voluntary service, which significantly expands the target group. The opportunity to earn credits for later study programs is an additional incentive.
Similar to the JuniorSTUDIUM in Hanover, other universities such as the Philipps University of Marburg also offer programs that aim to give students insights into university structures and course content. These programs promote exchange with teachers and students and enable individual advice for future study choices, in keeping with comprehensive study orientation. Events such as internships in working and research groups help young people better understand everyday student life.
