Osnabrück is celebrating: The big ball with live music and dance highlights!

On June 13, 2025, the University of Osnabrück will host a glamorous summer evening in the OsnabrückHalle. The University Ball, a traditional event, offers a perfect opportunity to dress elegantly and enjoy an unforgettable evening. The anticipation of this festive occasion is increased by a varied program of dance, live music and various show acts. After a long time without large gatherings, this ball is a welcome opportunity to celebrate.

The event starts at 7:30 p.m., with guests being welcomed by the marching band “The Speedos.” The evening will be moderated by Nele Kießling and Michael Hull, who will ensure entertainment and a smooth process. As part of the event, the university sports department will present a hip hop group as well as professional couple dancers who will show excellent performances in the waltz, cha-cha-cha and discofox.

Dance and music take center stage

The Hull Dance School will put on an impressive performance with the group “Big Bombastic”. The cover band “STILLaLive” will provide musical entertainment in the Europa Hall, interpreting contemporary hits and classics from the 80s. The live band “7Beats” will create a great atmosphere in the congress hall. There will also be three DJs who will play selected sets. Particularly noteworthy is the return of “Kleine Freiheit” to the rooftop, where the dance floor is made to pulsate.

Your physical well-being is also taken care of. Guests can enjoy culinary highlights in the food lounge and cocktail lounge. The spacious outdoor terrace and the silent lounge also invite you to relax and have relaxed conversations. The photo box and the “magic mirror” offer a special experience to capture the memories of the evening.

Tickets and preparations

Ticket prices are kept moderate at 28 euros for students and university employees and 34 euros for guests from the city and region. Tickets are available at various locations including the UniShop, Student Center and Hull Dance School, as well as online. In order to optimally prepare for the evening, dance courses are offered specifically for students and university members. Refresher courses only cost 7 euros per person.
