Alumni Day in Münster: celebration, networking and health lecture!
The long-awaited Alumni Day will take place at the University of Münster on July 5, 2025. The event begins at 2 p.m. with a welcome in the castle auditorium by Rector Prof. Dr. Johannes Wessels is headed. The festivities include high-quality lectures and a social summer party that celebrates the support and connection to former students.
The focus of the program is a lecture by Prof. Dr. Klaus Völker, who will give a lecture on the topic “How our muscles work for health”. This not only offers interesting insights into medical research, but also a valuable opportunity for the exchange of knowledge among alumni. After the lecture, tours of the city and the university are planned, giving participants the opportunity to explore their old alma mater again.
Summer festival and registrations
The alumni event ends with an atmospheric summer party in the castle garden, which features music and a barbecue buffet. Participation in the event costs 20 euros per person, children under 14 can take part free of charge. Registration is now open and those interested are encouraged to register quickly to secure their spot.
Alumni Day also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Alumni Club, which has had over 24,000 members since it was founded in 2001. Connections with former fellow students are actively promoted through regular events.
