Citizens' University launches nine innovative projects for the future!
On July 30, 2025, the start of nine projects will be proudly announced, which will be funded as part of the “Citizen University in Teaching” call for proposals. Social relevance and new formats
The focus is on socially-related teaching projects that are implemented in collaboration with external partners and target groups. This initiative meets the current requirements for science communication, which has increasingly developed into a dialogue format. Citizens' University emphasizes that the traditional one-way exchange of knowledge, for example through lectures and panel discussions, is being replaced by participation. New formats such as fishbowl formats and science cafés offer the public new opportunities to actively participate.
The importance of citizen science and participatory research is constantly growing. With this form of knowledge transfer, citizens are not only given the opportunity to actively participate, but also to bring their own perspective and expertise into the process of knowledge creation. The Citizens' University serves as a platform to disseminate information about these developments and show various event formats. More details can be viewed there.
