The FernUniversität in Hagen opened the Innovating Higher Education Conference (I-HE 2025) today. This important event brings together participants from across Europe, including representatives from Iceland, Cyprus, Portugal and Latvia. The conference pursues the overarching goal of advancing the digital transformation of higher education and is based on the motto: “Rethinking Higher Education: Engage, Adapt, Include”.

The FernUniversität in Hagen is an active member of the international OpenEU alliance, which is committed to flexible and sustainable educational offerings for learners of all ages and backgrounds.
