Research prize for creative minds: 150,000 euros for innovative projects!
The University of Paderborn today launched a call for proposals for a research award that honors exceptional research projects. The aim is to promote projects outside the mainstream, with particular attention being paid to interdisciplinary approaches. In order to apply for this prestigious award, scientists and project teams who are capable of independent research (from postdocs onwards) must take part with active involvement in the University of Paderborn. The deadline for submitting applications is May 19, 2025.
The prize is endowed with 150,000 euros and the prize money can be used flexibly over a year and a half, be it for travel, material or personnel costs.
Several documents are required for a successful application. This includes an introduction to the scientists involved and their main areas of work, a short CV and the doctoral certificate of young scientists. A project outline (max. 76 lines) and a cost plan are also required. The original signed declaration of consent for data processing must also be enclosed. Interested parties are invited to find further information on the official research award website, which contains detailed information on how to apply.
