Career fair in Bochum: The path to your dream job of tomorrow!
The central career fair of the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) will take place on May 20th and 21st, 2025 in the university's event center. This fair is aimed particularly at students who are looking for potential employers. On both days of the trade fair, visitors have the opportunity to visit the trade fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and get in touch with exhibitors from various industries. The offers include a free photo booth for application photos and a portfolio check provided by the Ruhr University Career Service.
Another highlight is the opportunity to have informal discussions with company representatives in the Maria Kart Arena. To prepare for the event, participants have access to online tips as well as an exhibitor plan to optimally prepare for the trade fair. The RUB career fair enables students to explore career prospects in Bochum and the surrounding region, which is particularly encouraging as Bochum is an important business location with many small and medium-sized companies.
Strengthen contact with business
The career fair is seen as an important platform for targeted recruitment of young talent. This approach helps to ensure the competitiveness of the regional economy. Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Martin Paul, the RUB rector, expressed the wish for inspiring encounters and good conversations for all visitors to the trade fair. In order to ensure a successful trade fair appearance, the exhibiting companies are offered coaching if necessary.
The event management agency Red Braid Marketing was hired as an event service provider and acts as an interface between educational institutions and employers. This cooperation aims to expand the range of employers for the university's graduates and increase the visibility of the event. Participants can speak directly to numerous employers and gain valuable insights for their professional future.
