Creative minds united: The Folkwang tour 2025 is exciting!
The Folkwang Tour, a significant exhibition organized and curated by students from the Design Department, has established itself as a highlight in the annual calendar of the Folkwang University of the Arts since its founding in 2018. The event takes place in the North Quarter on the Zollverein World Heritage Campus and includes a comprehensive presentation of works in the disciplines of photography, industrial design and communication design. Every year the event showcases creative developments and new product trends that attract both trade visitors and art enthusiasts.
Visitors have the opportunity not only to discover artistic works, but also to take part in a variety of events. Lectures, workshops and live performances in the areas of music, literature, dance and performance complement the program and underline the interdisciplinary profile of the tour. Guests can also expect a factory sale with ceramic works, T-shirts and prints from students; many of these objects are unique or available in limited editions.
