New: Exciting modules for the summer semester 2025 at the RUB!
The new offer of the optional area at the Ruhr University Bochum for the summer semester of 2025 has been officially published. Students now have the opportunity to gain qualifications in a variety of competency-oriented modules. The topics cover practice, language, research, international affairs and other areas. Further modules examine digitalization and its connection to democracy, while the Music Center offers creative approaches to memory and dialogue.
Sustainability and language certificates
Another focus of the program is sustainability. This includes, among other things, a BMBF-funded module that deals with the energy transition through alternative perspectives from students. In addition, students should be trained as ESD tutors in order to promote education for sustainable development. In addition, an offer for language certificates in Modern Standard Arabic, Modern Persian and Modern Turkish was introduced to enable students to engage more deeply with these languages.
