New dating platform HHUmble: Students find the perfect match!

On April 1, 2025, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (HHU) will announce the launch of its new dating platform HHUmble. This innovative platform offers students, teachers, academic staff and employees the opportunity to combine academic interests and personal preferences. The platform was developed in close collaboration with the university's Center for Information and Media Technology (ZIM). The intelligent matching technology ensures that the platform is currently exclusively accessible to students. A special highlight of HHUmble is the course matching, which is used to help students find suitable courses that match their individual interests and goals. In the near future, an HHUmble app will also be released in all major app stores that enables anonymous chatting. In addition, an official fan shop will be set up to enable university members to purchase merchandise items.

The launch of HHUmble comes at a time when universities are experiencing transformation through digital technologies.
