In the academic year 2024/25, the FernUniversität in Hagen will once again award scholarships as part of the Deutschlandstipendium program. A scholarship amounts to 300 euros per month, with 150 euros financed by the federal government and a further 150 euros by private individuals or companies. The scholarship is independent of income and can be received in addition to BAföG. It does not count towards other social benefits, except possibly housing benefit. Students of all nationalities and disciplines can apply, but the Deutschlandstipendium is not available for doctoral students and certain courses at administrative universities.
