Looking forward to the AStA summer festival: closures and information!

On Thursday, June 5th, the AStA summer festival will take place at the University of Paderborn. In order to prepare the event optimally, some changes and restrictions are necessary in advance. There will be a temporary closure of parking spaces on campus for safety reasons. Among other things, the parking garage will remain completely closed on festival day, which could make travel difficult for some visitors. The personal appearance of festival visitors is thus influenced.

In the days surrounding the festival, all events at the university are adjusted. Building L will be accessible exclusively to festival staff from Wednesday, June 4th, 6 p.m. to Friday, June 6th, 7 a.m. Access to the campus is also regulated: from 12 p.m. the Audimax is only accessible to festival staff, lecture hall G from 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. levels 0 in buildings A, B, C and D are restricted. These adjustments are necessary to ensure the festival runs smoothly.

Program information

The AStA summer festival will officially start at 3:30 p.m. and last until 1 a.m. The live music outside will end at 11:30 p.m. In order to accommodate the curious number of visitors, the library will close from 2 p.m. on June 5th, while the festival site will be cleared between 2 and 3 p.m. and then closed.

The sound check and music playback times are also fixed. For Wednesday, June 4th, all stages will be in use for a maximum of three hours from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Thursday itself, the Audimax lawn will be open for play from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (with a one-hour lunch break). Stages 2 to 5 have the same times.

For those who would like to take part in the summer festival, there are some instructions on how to register. Users of the newsletter should be careful not to close the registration page until a confirmation email has been received.
