WHU alumni conquer Forbes: Four talents under 30 in Europe!

The WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management has included four of its alumni in this year’s Forbes “30 under 30” list for Europe. This list selects talented and successful personalities from various areas and is considered one of the most renowned rankings for young leaders. The list has been published since 2012 and has produced numerous WHU alumni in recent years.

This year's awards go to graduates Lucas Christel, Tobias Hoss, Finn zur Mühlen and Lukas Pauly, who were recognized in the Manufacturing & Industry, Technology and Media & Marketing categories. In recent years, a total of almost 40 WHU graduates have found a place in various Forbes lists, which underlines the university's performance.

The distinguished alumni

Lucas Christel, a graduate of the class of 2018, is co-founder of Purpose Green, a climate tech start-up from Berlin that was founded in 2023. The company is committed to decarbonizing the real estate sector and has already raised $18.4 million from investors including Fifth Wall and Speedinvest.

Tobias Hoss, who successfully completed his master's degree in 2020, works as Vice President Operations at Lunar X, a media company founded in 2021. Under his leadership, Lunar

Finn zur Mühlen, also a 2020 BSc graduate, is co-founder of Telli, an AI start-up launched in 2024. Telli specializes in developing voice AI agents for sales and has already raised $3.6 million from Cherry Ventures and Y Combinator. The company is actively expanding in the USA, Great Britain and Germany.

The fourth distinguished alumni, Lukas Pauly, is the founder of Enpal.pro, the largest B2B platform for solar and heating installers in Europe. The company supports more than 1,200 companies in Germany and has been profitable since the beginning of 2024. Enpal.pro also plans to expand to Poland, France, Austria and the Netherlands.

The path to recognition

Candidates for the Forbes 30 Under 30 list are selected by a jury of experts who select the best talent based on their impressive resumes. The list covers a variety of fields, including business, science, technology, arts and sports. Leaders from other sectors, such as Miley Cyrus and LeBron James, have also been included in this venerable list of talented young people over the years.

WHU alumni in the international editions of Forbes also include Fabian Bitta and Lea Henzgen, who make outstanding contributions in the areas of sustainable products and animal and environmental conservation. While Bitta is active in the area of ​​sustainable goods with Emma & Noah, Henzgen co-founded the AMES Foundation, which is committed to animal protection in Africa.
