Saarland University launches new master's degree in sustainable materials

Starting in the winter semester, a new master's degree program entitled “Sustainable Materials and Engineering” will be offered at Saarland University. This innovative course focuses on the development of sustainable materials, such as compostable packaging, environmentally friendly building materials made from renewable raw materials and vehicles made from recyclable lightweight materials. According to the university, this course aims to train experts who master both the chemical and engineering aspects of materials development.

The master's degree program is designed to be research-oriented and practice-oriented.
