Chemnitz starts international Master in Business & Economics!

Chemnitz University of Technology is expanding its range of courses and is establishing a new English-language master's degree program entitled “Business & Economics” (M.Sc.) for the 2025/26 winter semester. This measure reflects the increasing internationalization of higher education and aims to optimally prepare graduates of bachelor's degrees in economics for their future careers.

The course is aimed at students who are looking for professional prospects in international companies, in science, in administration or in international organizations. Study content and structure

The “Business & Economics” master’s degree program provides in-depth knowledge of business administration, economics, law, statistics and digitalization. The modular structure of the course allows students to set individual priorities. Up to two of the following areas of focus can be stated on the certificate:

In addition, students have the opportunity to learn additional foreign languages, which further increases their qualifications in an international context.

Admission and application deadlines

Admission to the new master's program is open to students with a bachelor's degree in economics from Chemnitz University of Technology or an equivalent degree in related courses. The registration deadline is July 15, 2025 for international applicants and September 19, 2025 for German prospective students.
