Experience the TU Dresden: UNITAG with an exciting information program!
On May 24, 2025, the Technical University of Dresden (TU Dresden) will open its doors from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for UNITAG, a university information day aimed at all prospective students. The event takes place in the lecture hall center and in the Fritz Foerster Building. Here, potential students can gain insights into the university's range of courses and campus life during an informative day.
The highlights of UNITAG include a variety of offers. This includes presentations from faculties and disciplines, information stands and lectures on topics such as study requirements, applications and financing studies. The service facilities of the TU Dresden and partners also introduce themselves. Campus tours and visits to laboratories and research facilities are also part of the program. There are special offers for parents that involve the whole family.
Diverse agenda and activities
During the university information day, visitors can not only find out more about the degree programs, but also get to know student life. When the weather is nice, the program includes outdoor activities that allow you to get to know university groups, provide food and practical highlights. Registration for UNITAG is only required if this is explicitly stated for certain program items.
Those interested have the opportunity to find out about the program via a special UNITAG web app, available for iOS and Android. This app makes it possible to create a personal program and filter the events according to study programs and topics. Users can also find out about current changes without having to download or install the app. Further information can be found on the UNITAG website.
A comprehensive range of information
UNITAG is not the only way to find out about studying at TU Dresden. A previous event, the university information day UNI LIVE, took place on January 9, 2025. An opening lecture from the Central Student Advisory Service addressed the fundamental questions of studying at the TU Dresden. The later workshops and laboratory tours were valuable opportunities to experience everyday student life up close.
At both events, students, teachers and staff are available to answer questions. In addition, the central information market offers comprehensive information on courses of study, application options and financing. A special program for parents rounds off the information on offer.
These formats provide a comprehensive overview of the wide range of study offerings. Faculties represent different disciplines and focus on thematic focuses such as sustainability, health or mobility. Information about the study programs is clearly structured both on the relevant websites and in the event programs in order to provide visitors with good orientation.
