International Summer Academy: Apply for a scholarship now!
Students at Chemnitz University of Technology have until March 31, 2025 to apply for a scholarship and participation in the International Summer School at TU Białystok. This event will take place from June 30 to July 9, 2025 and offers participants a platform for practical learning and international exchange.
As part of the International Summer School, the focus is on interdisciplinary collaboration. Two central areas are covered thematically: “VIPSKILLS”, which deals with effective solutions for sustainable buildings, and “GLOCAL”, which focuses on sustainable solutions for cities. The program includes interactive workshops, laboratory work, soft skills training, excursions and company visits. In addition, students can switch between the two thematic “tracks” daily, which increases the chance of diverse experiences.
International experience and support
TUC students not only benefit from free participation in the summer school, but also receive a scholarship to cover travel and accommodation costs. This enables students to expand their international experience, deepen their specialist knowledge and make valuable contacts.

Additional programs in Finland
In addition to the Summer School in Białystok, another International Summer School on the topic of “Resilience and sustainable development” will take place from August 19 to September 6, 2025 at the University of Oulu and the Oulu Business School in Finland. This event is aimed at bachelor's and master's students and examines regionally specific sustainable development from the perspective of resilience.
The number of participants is limited to 30 students. An application is possible until April 30, 2025 and requires a letter of motivation and a transcript of records. For applications, interested parties can contact mak@rub.de to record.
Both projects represent an excellent opportunity to not only gain theoretical knowledge, but also to apply it in practice and gain new, international perspectives. These events are therefore ideal for students who are interested in sustainable development and resilience and are considering how they can contribute to a better future.
