The final event of the 17th season of the JUNIORDOKTOR program took place on September 15, 2025 at the Technical University of Dresden (TU Dresden). With a record participation of 161 children and young people, the ever-growing interest in science and research in the region was once again impressively demonstrated. Diverse offers for young researchers

The program includes over 100 extracurricular events, including workshops, laboratories, lecture halls and exhibitions relevant to today. Participants can not only learn, but also research playfully and live out their curiosity. The TU Dresden once again provided extensive offerings in the 2024/25 season. These included, among other things, puzzle tours in the botanical garden, workshops on how speech works and experiments on the discovery of microorganisms.

What is particularly noteworthy is that participation in the JUNIORDOKTOR program is free of charge. This enables students from different social backgrounds to take part in the events and discover new learning worlds. The program encourages participants to wear the mortarboard after learning new content, which is a priceless experience for many.
