A very special highlight is the seminar series “TKMentalStrategies – Relaxed for your doctorate”, which will take place from August 13th to September 10th, 2025 in collaboration with the Techniker Krankenkasse. This series focuses on doctoral students' stress management and promotes their personal and academic development. Participants are given practical strategies and the opportunity to build a supportive network.
The ZfwN regularly provides information about current events and news in a newsletter. Those interested can subscribe to this newsletter online. If you have any questions or need advice, the team is available via email zfwn@tu-chemnitz.de available.
The ZfwN's offerings not only provide valuable input for scientific and personal development, but are also in line with the aspirations of institutions like the University of Cologne, which also develop offers for doctoral students in order to successfully qualify them for the academic and labor market. The challenges for First Stage Researchers (R1) are particularly taken into account, with a network of graduate institutions available.
The wide range of further education opportunities shows that both the Chemnitz University of Technology and other academic institutions are constantly working to provide comprehensive support for young scientists.
