Start of the Dresden Children's University: Exciting lectures for curious minds!

Registration for the Children's University of Dresden began on March 3, 2025, which is aimed at children aged eight to twelve. How TU Dresden reported, hybrid participation is possible both on site in the lecture hall and online, which makes access to the events easier. The event program for the 2025 summer semester promises exciting topics that will arouse the interest of young participants. On April 1, 2025, Stefanie Gerstenberger from TU Dresden will talk about the topic “From class voting to the federal election – why do we vote?” talk, followed by Christiane Richter from HTW Dresden, who on April 15th will answer the riddle of “How did the whale get to the desert?” presented.

Diverse topics for curious minds

On April 29th, Prof. Moritz Schulz from TU Dresden will answer the question “From Head to Feet: Why should we actually be sensible?” clear up. At the end of the program on May 13, 2025, Thomas Liebenstein from Leipzig Zoo will dedicate himself to “Species protection up close – How can we save the European hamster?”

The events take place at two different locations: in the lecture hall center of the Technical University of Dresden and in the large hall of the German Hygiene Museum. The organizers, a joint initiative of the German Hygiene Museum Dresden and the TU Dresden, are relying on the support of DRESDEN-concept and CUP Laboratorien Dr. Freitag GmbH instructed.
