Chemnitz University of Technology starts a new bachelor’s degree in data science – apply now!

From the winter semester of 2025/26, Chemnitz University of Technology will introduce a new bachelor's degree program entitled “Foundations in Data Science”. This English-taught degree program was created to meet the growing demand for specialists in the field of data science. A central feature of the new course offering is the strong focus on the mathematical foundations and techniques required to solve modern data-based challenges. Course content and admission

The course content in the new degree program covers a variety of subject areas, including measurement and integration theories, vector analysis, ordinary differential equations, probability and mathematical statistics, as well as specific courses on data science.
