Concert evening by the Lübeck University Choir: A musical highlight!
On June 14, 2025, the Lübeck University Choir will announce a special concert evening that will take place on July 11, 2025 at 8:30 p.m. in the University Church of St. Petri. The management is in the hands of Chiara Perneker. Visitors can look forward to admission from 7:45 p.m. and be seated in time to experience a musical performance that offers sophisticated works of classical music.
The evening's program is impressive: the choir will perform Dvořák's Mass in D major, in a version for choir and large orchestra. To round off the concert, baritone soloist Friedrich Hagedorn will present Frank Martin's Ode à la musique.

Tickets for the concert are available either at the box office or in advance. The prices are:

The event is not only a highlight in the university choir's calendar, but is also part of an intensive rehearsal program that begins before the 2025 summer semester. The semester started on April 8th and includes various important dates such as a rehearsal weekend from June 20th to 22nd in the Bad Malente youth hostel and a rehearsal day on May 10th in the Katharineum.
In addition, the chamber choir plans to organize program items in the end-of-semester concert with a smaller cast.
