Science meets entertainment: Science Slam Lübeck inspires on October 25th!
On October 25, 2025, the St. Petri University Church in Lübeck will be the venue for this year's Science Slam Lübeck 2025, Vol. 2. The competition starts at 8:00 p.m., with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. This special evening is organized by the project Lübeck to the power of 3 in close cooperation with St. Petri in Lübeck and Slam A Rama.
A total of six scientists from Lübeck universities and other institutions in Germany will present their current research results. The topics range from natural sciences and humanities to technology and medicine. Thanks to the musical accompaniment of "Dr. Sven and the Selective Serotonin Reuptake Hammers", visitors can expect not only intellectual but also musical pleasure.
A festival of science
The Science Slam is more than just an academic event; it is a competition in which participants have the opportunity to present their research projects in an exciting and entertaining way. The lectures last 10 minutes each, and the highlight: the audience has the opportunity to vote after each lecture to choose the best slammer. The aim of the participants is to inspire and win over the audience, be it through exciting content or through a clear presentation of their topics.
This form of competition attracts a diverse audience. From students to non-academics, young people to retirees and science enthusiasts – everyone is invited to be inspired. In Lübeck, the Science Slam has become an integral part of the scientific and cultural landscape and offers a unique platform to make research tangible.
Tickets and entrance fees
The entry prices for the Science Slam are extremely fair at 15 euros regular and 10 euros reduced for school and college students (plus advance booking fee). Tickets are available at ticket offices and via www.luebeckticket.de and available at the box office.
