Data management in focus: World conference brings experts to Berlin!
From June 22nd to 27th, 2025, Berlin will be the meeting place for leading experts in the field of data management. The ACM SIGMOD/PODS takes place in the German capital and is organized by renowned institutions, including BIFOLD, the Technical University of Berlin, the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Hasso Plattner Institute Potsdam. Over 1,000 leading database researchers are expected, making the conference the most important international event in this sector.
The central objective of the conference is to position Germany and the Berlin/Brandenburg metropolitan region as a leading location for artificial intelligence. The program includes both research and company lectures, tutorials, demos and workshops. Around 150 scientific lectures, 200 poster presentations and around 70 technology demonstrations are planned. Various topics are covered, including transaction processing, CXL network technology, the design of scalable neural networks, as well as data error identification, data protection and data integration. Renowned tech companies such as Alibaba, Adobe, Amazon, Google and Microsoft will present their latest technologies.
