From student to fashion queen: Josephine's rise into the fashion world!

Josephine Schnier, 24 years old, studied fashion marketing at the BSP in Berlin and has embarked on an impressive career in the fashion industry. After completing her bachelor's degree, she took a position at the streetwear brand Worst Behavior, where she developed quickly and overcame numerous challenges.

Already in her childhood, Josephine showed a great enthusiasm for fashion, which was sparked by her interest in Top Model magazines. Her studies combined creative aspects with business knowledge, including business administration, management and marketing. She acquired important skills such as presentation techniques and fearless speaking during her studies, making her ideally prepared for a career in the fashion industry.

Career Path at Worst Behavior

Josephine applied for a practical semester at Worst Behavior and was accepted. During her internship she learned retail management and visual merchandising. From the 6th semester she worked as a working student in the company. After graduating, she initially worked as an assistant in visual merchandising, where she successfully opened two new stores. Her achievements led to a promotion to Regional Visual Merchandising Manager, where she is responsible for product presentation in stores and works closely with store managers.

In her role, she put together and trained her own team in visual merchandising. Josephine attaches great importance to ensuring that customers are perceived as people and feel comfortable in the stores. Her work also includes travel to European fashion capitals such as Paris, Hamburg, London and Vienna, which gives her the opportunity to observe current trends and technologies in retail.

Influence of fashion on self-confidence

Josephine believes that fashion can significantly influence people's self-confidence and charisma. Her personal dream brand is Jacquemus, which she values because of its high recognition value in marketing and unique products. Openness to new things and a high willingness to take on responsibility were essential for her rise in the industry. She also emphasizes the importance of her bachelor's degree for her professional development.

Retail offers tremendous opportunities for fashion-loving people, such as job openings for salespeople at well-known brands like The North Face, Vans and Timberland in Berlin. The branches in Bikini, Mitte and Alexa are looking for motivated employees who enjoy direct customer contact and adhere to sales standards. Wrapped in a positive work environment, VF Corporation, which owns these brands, offers numerous benefits such as competitive salaries, career development and employee benefits.

However, applicants should have a passion for fashion and retail and have good communication skills in German and/or English. Flexibility for weekend and holiday work is a must, while the company upholds values such as diversity and equal opportunity and promotes a supportive work culture.

The application process is uncomplicated: interested parties can register in the talent pool and should indicate their preferences. Only applicants who meet company expectations will be invited for an interview.
