The prestigious Cannes Film Festival is approaching its 78th edition, which will take place from May 13 to 24, 2025. The focus of the festival is once again on major international film productions, while the competition for the Palme d'Or forms the heart of the event. The Babelsberg Konrad Wolf Film University contributes immense attention to the diversity of the program with several contributions. Especially the film“SOUND OF FALLING”is highlighted in the main competition, with film university student Billie Mind acting in various key positions such as junior editor and sound designer. The team is also supported by prominent alumni, including Evelyn Rack, Eike Hosenfeld, Maren Schmitt and Lasse Scharpen.
