Innovation forge in Catania: E-Lab 2025 for Future Entrepreneurs!
The EUNICE Entrepreneurship Lab 2025 will start on March 8, 2025, an innovative program aimed at bachelor's, master's and doctoral students who are interested in entrepreneurial thinking and acting. b-tu.de reports that this program not only consists of a series of 13 online workshops, but also includes a summer school in Catania, Italy.
This event offers interactive seminars and the opportunity to learn from experienced experts. The participants, who are organized as E-Labbers, work in teams and develop innovative concepts with the support of mentors and coaches. At the end of the program, the teams present their ideas to a jury of EUNICE Alliance partners.
Highlights of the program
Particularly noteworthy is the final event during the Summer School, which will take place from June 30th to July 4th, 2025 in Catania. Here the best teams will be awarded and given the opportunity to take part in the prestigious Tech Hackathon 2025, which will take place on July 3, 2025. Participation is open to students who apply by March 7, 2025 to develop their entrepreneurial skills and gain interdisciplinary experience unict.it.
The program aims to address innovation challenges and transform ideas into marketable projects. The focus is on the development of products with the potential for licenses and patents as well as the establishment of academic spin-offs and student start-ups.
Examples of global programs
Another notable approach to fostering entrepreneurial skills is Cal Poly Pomona's Student Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Leadership Program (SIELP), scheduled for July 2025. cpp.edu explains that this 14-day program offers students various international experiences and comprehensive training that will prepare them well for future challenges in the field of entrepreneurship.
As part of SIELP, students participate in lectures, interactive laboratory activities and team projects. In addition, particular emphasis is placed on developing public relations and presentation skills. Excursions and cultural exchange programs broaden horizons and promote intercultural dialogue among participants.
With the variety of offerings in the EUNICE Entrepreneurship Lab, complemented by programs such as SIELP, students are optimally prepared to master the challenges of today's business world and transform innovative ideas into viable projects.
