From September 1, 2025, interested parties will have the opportunity to apply for over 80 study programs over a period of two weeks University of Bremen to apply. The registration deadline ends on September 15th. Direct admission applies to all applicants. The offering includes popular courses such as public health, business administration, cultural studies and law. In addition, teacher training courses are also available, which are particularly aimed at promoting the training of more teachers for Bremen schools.
It is important to note that this free enrollment does not apply to master's programs. However, some master's programs have an extended deadline, which also runs until September 15, 2025. Current application numbers
In the current application round, over 22,000 applications have already been received for a first semester. This includes over 12,000 applications for bachelor's degree programs, almost 1,000 of which come from international students. Bachelor's degree programs in psychology, high school teaching, business administration and law are particularly in demand. More than 3,000 new students are expected.
Over 10,000 applications were registered for master's programs, an increase of 25% compared to the previous year. Popular master's degree programs include Psychology, Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems and Management Information Systems. The forecast for the number of new master's students is at least the same number as in the winter semester of 2024, which was around 1,350.
Course offerings and campus life
The University of Bremen offers a diverse selection of bachelor's and master's degree programs in the areas of humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, engineering and business. The interdisciplinary training enables students to combine different perspectives and develop innovative solutions. Application process for degree programs with restricted admission
In the event that applications are necessary for study programs with nationwide admission restrictions such as human medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry and pharmacy, a second registration is required. In order to submit applications for these specific study programs, interested parties must access a link to the “Online Application” (AntOn), which is provided in the DoSV study program. A separate registration or login is required on this platform to ensure detailed processing of the application University start informed.
