EBS-EMBA program rises to 43rd place in the Global MBA Ranking!
On April 18, 2025, the EBS University of Economics and Law once again confirmed its position in the CEO Magazine Global MBA Ranking 2025 proven. The full-time MBA program was placed in the TOP TIER ONE group, which includes the best-rated programs without further differentiation. This is a remarkable achievement that reflects EBS's continued excellence in business education.
What is particularly noteworthy is that the EBS Executive MBA (EMBA) program, which is offered in cooperation with Durham University, achieved 43rd place in the ranking, which corresponds to a slight increase compared to the previous year (44th place). In its survey, CEO Magazine considers 309 programs from 153 business schools in 24 countries, which are evaluated according to criteria such as the quality of the faculty, international diversity, accreditations and the promotion of professional development. These objective data points provide potential students with valuable guidance when selecting their MBA or EMBA programs.
Quality of EMBA programs
Efforts to maintain high standards in higher education are also reflected in the Evaluation of EMBA programs reflected. All programs listed in the ranking enjoy a high level of quality. The schools are divided into four tiers, with the point difference between the top program and the school ranked 100th being 195 points. There are nine schools in Tier I, including leading institutions such as Ceibs and Insead, while Tier II ranges from Fudan University School of Management (ranked 10th) to Koç University Graduate School of Business (ranked 44th).
Tier III is led by ESMT Berlin and includes schools ranked 45th to 87th; Tier IV ranges from Aalto University (ranked 88th) to the University of Tennessee: Haslam (ranked 100th). Noteworthy is that schools in Tier I and II are above the cohort average, while Tier III and IV are below. The differentiated assessment between consecutively ranked schools is greater within Tiers I and IV than in Tiers II and III.
