The University of Greifswald will open its doors to everyone who is interested in studying on May 16th and 17th, 2025. The university information days offer an excellent opportunity to find out comprehensive information about the courses on offer and campus life. This year there are over 100 events on the program, including lectures, guided tours and lectures.
On the first day, May 16th, those interested can attend regular courses and get a first impression of everyday teaching life. Subject-specific information events offer in-depth insights into the university's various degree programs. The second day, May 17th, is dedicated to the information market, which takes place in the foyer of the lecture hall building. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 35 stands will present the different study programs, departments and central facilities.
A variety of activities for prospective students
The university information days are aimed at students, parents and anyone interested in studying who would like to find out more about the courses on offer. Of particular note is the special parent event taking place on May 17th at 11:30 a.m. Here parents can find important information on topics such as financing studies, housing and stays abroad. Experts from the Student Union, the International Office and the AStA are available to exchange information.
In addition to the information market, a number of other events are planned. This includes campus tours and the so-called campus talks, where students and teachers offer an open forum for discussions. The course pitches, which will take place on May 17th at 10:30 a.m., will introduce the individual departments in compact short presentations.
