Long-term cooperation between the universities
The cooperation between Clausthal University of Technology and the University of Ljubljana, the oldest university in Slovenia with almost 40,000 students, began in 1956. This cooperation will celebrate its 70th anniversary next year. During this time, numerous Slovenian students were able to gain international experience through the exchange.
Prof. Lamut, who has represented this cooperation for many years, pointed out that the regular meetings of delegations from both universities every two years during University Weeks play an important role in the further development of this cooperation.
Overall, the appointment of Prof. Lamut as an honorary citizen of Clausthal University of Technology shows not only the appreciation for his personal achievements, but also the institutions' commitment to international education and exchange, which continues for generations.
