LeibnizLAB brings exciting science into the classroom!

Schools can now use the innovative LeibnizLAB, the Leibniz University Hannover's experiments bus, for dates from April to September 2025. This offer is aimed at students in grades 3 to 13 and aims to promote interest in scientific and technical subjects. Since 2011, the LeibnizLAB has been bringing science directly to the classroom and giving young people exciting insights into various MINT disciplines.

The Experiment Bus offers classroom visits in subject areas such as civil engineering, biology/biochemistry, electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering and physics. Class visits are free for schools and are intended to arouse students' curiosity. Teachers can easily organize classes or learning groups via the website www.uni-hannover.de/leibnizlab register.

Fascination for MINT subjects

The LeibnizLAB team ensures that students experience the fascination of natural sciences up close. The young people can experiment independently and learn to work scientifically while being accompanied by a research assistant from the university. This not only promotes practical knowledge, but also teamwork and problem-solving skills among participants.

The initiative is in line with a variety of nationwide projects to promote STEM education. Organizations like that Association for the promotion of MINT talent e.V. and the Young Researchers Initiative (IJF) have also committed themselves to the goal of getting children and young people excited about MINT disciplines and developing their cognitive and creative potential.
