The Hans Soldan Moot Court in detail

The Hans Soldan Moot Court has established itself as one of the most important simulations of German court proceedings. The aim of the competition is to give students an understanding of the practical aspects of legal professional law. The central tasks include drafting pleadings, representing the interests of clients and analyzing and assessing evidence.

Each year a specific case is presented, which serves to deepen the participants' knowledge of law and procedural practice. In this way, students not only learn what it means to act in court proceedings, but also can demonstrate their legal skills in a competitive setting.

With this initiative, the FernUniversität in Hagen has created a valuable offer for its students and thus contributes to the practice-oriented training of future lawyers.
