Become an election officer: Apply now for the student elections!

The student parliament of the FernUniversität in Hagen has published a call for applications for election management for the 2025 student elections. Those interested have until May 26, 2025 to submit their documents to play a central role in organizing these important elections. The election management will be responsible for the preparation and implementation of the elections and will therefore perform a crucial function.

The election management has comprehensive tasks: It leads the election activities, organizes the implementation and ensures the technical preparation. Application details and requirements

The application documents must contain some important information, including name, date of birth, mailing address and professional status. Confirmation as to whether the applicant is a student at the FernUni and in which course of study is also required. The student elections themselves will take place in the summer of 2025 and require the formation of an election committee that will organize the elections neutrally together with the election management. The election committee is expected to be elected in the student parliament on February 8, 2025, and work will begin after it is constituted. Members of the election committee also receive an expense allowance and can settle their travel costs and any overnight accommodation costs in Hagen fernstudies.de.

Required documents for the election committee

Interested people who want to apply for the election committee have until January 31, 2025. Applications must contain a valid certificate of study and a completed profile. The profile should include information such as last name, first name, age, place of residence, course of study and semester, the length of study at the FernUni and previous elective experiences. The election committee consists of seven members and is supported by chairman Nils Roschin, who calls for applications.
