Science battle in Lübeck: The Science Slam 2025 rocks the stage!
The city of Lübeck is preparing for an exciting event in the scientific and cultural scene. It will take place on May 17, 2025 Science Slam 2025, Vol. 1 which is intended to attract numerous citizens and those interested in science. The event begins at 8:00 p.m. in St. Petri Church, with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. The number of participants is limited to six young scientists who will present their research work in a humorous way.
The spectacular event offers a format that combines natural sciences, humanities, technology and medicine. The researchers presenting come not only from universities in Lübeck, but also from various institutions in Germany. Tilo Strauß and Lilly Schaack will moderate the event, while musical accompaniment will be provided by “Dr. Sven and the Selective Serotonin Reuptake Hammers”.
Entrance fees and ticket information
Admission to this innovative event normally costs 15 euros, while discounted tickets for school and college students are available for 10 euros, plus an advance booking fee. Tickets can be purchased at ticket offices, via luebeckticket.de as well as at the box office.
This science slam is organized by the project Lübeck to the power of 3 organized in cooperation with St. Petri zu Lübeck and Slam A Rama. The event is not only an opportunity to gain scientific knowledge in an entertaining way, but also a platform that promotes exchange between researchers and the public.
