On June 10, 2025, scientists from the Viadrina Center B/ORDERS IN MOTION and the University of Potsdam will announce a major event that will explore the cross-border organization of public services such as fire protection, emergency services and local transport. The results of these studies will be presented on Wednesday, June 25th at 4:15 p.m. at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). The anthology, which will be published by Springer VS in 2025, was edited by Peter Ulrich, Norbert Cyrus and Jarosław Jańczak. Particularly in view of the increasing interconnectedness of European countries, it is important that national public service organizations pursue expanded and improved cooperation strategies in order to meet the needs of citizens.
