Science meets society

The 2025 Science Year has the motto “Future Energy” and is intended to create a space for discussions about the challenges of energy supply. In view of climate change and limited resources, innovative approaches and technologies are required to guarantee a cost-efficient and sustainable energy supply. The Spremberg presence office has therefore made it its mission to continue to offer a platform for scientific exchange in 2025, even if no special project funding is provided by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) this year.

The goal remains clear: arouse curiosity, create access to science and promote dialogue between science and the public. Further information about the events, their times and registration is available on the website of the Spremberg presence office. How b-tu.de reported, the aim is to continue the positive experiences from the previous year, which should further strengthen the dialogue in science.
