On August 15, 2025, 39 new trainees began their journey into the professional world at the University of Münster. The welcome event took place in the Alexander von Humboldt House, where the new apprentices had the opportunity to get to know each other and receive information about the upcoming training. The deputy university chancellor Eva Mundanjohl took the honor of congratulating the newly minted trainees and encouraged them to actively participate in their training. Particularly noteworthy is the interest in apprenticeships in IT specialists, for which 14 new trainees were enrolled, and in office management, where eight apprentices are starting.
The University of Münster is one of the largest training companies in Münsterland and currently offers qualified training positions to around 150 trainees in 22 different professions, both commercial and craft and industrial-technical. In addition to IT specialists and office management, the offering also includes professions such as industrial clerk, mechatronics engineer and various dual study programs.
